For typical Indian cooking with regular tempering and frying, we recommend a minimum of 1200 m³/hr. For heavy daily cooking or larger kitchens, 1400–1600 m³/hr auto-clean chimneys perform best.
Filterless/baffle chimneys use centrifugal force to separate oil from air and need less frequent manual cleaning, making them ideal for heavy Indian cooking. Filter chimneys are more affordable but need regular filter cleaning.
